Camp Chef stove and oven
Has anyone on the forum tried or owns one of the Camp Chef portable stove and oven ? If you have how did you like it or didn't like it ? I am thinking about one and would like your input. Thanks

I bought one a year or two ago when I saw a 50% sale. I like: the 2 eye stove top. Very easy and convenient, the oven works well and can get to 400 degrees quickly. I don't like: unit size. You need to find a low table that's sturdy enough to stay stable that puts the stove top at the right height. The oven creates "hot spots" that will burn casseroles/biscuits and the like. We found that a good, heavy cast iron skillet fits in the oven and is great for biscuits as it conducts heat evenly.
I won't go camping without it now. It does keeps the clutter and smell out of the unit.
