OK, I've heard some reports (I'm not an RVer yet) that camp ground laundries can be offensive. I've heard of people pissing in the dryers, Used diapers and remnants in the dryers, Having to check the dryers with a flashlight for debris, gum, etc.
My question is: Has anyone found these things to be true and do you recommend a laundrymat in town rather than a campground.
As absurd as it seems that this is happening, it is making me think TT with W/d vs Class C.
Back to OP . . .We've worked in a campground for several months for 2 years, and after this experience we installed a washer and dryer in our Class A.
Why?
Convenience. It's far easier doing laundry in your RV than schlepping over to the campground or town laundromat.
My wife and I have been largely responsible for cleaning our campground's laundromat. Though I haven't seen the horrors depicted in the OP's original post, I've seen enough to install our RV's washer/dryer.
I have a feeling that many of the folks here who think camp laundries are hunky dory are not the ones in there RV who are
actually doing the laundry.
