This is where you and I differ. I would have went over and shut his generator off. When he came out I would explain that it was after hours for the generator and that I was the camp host. (I even have a sign that I put out.) and did not want people complaining to him. I figured he didn't realize how late it was. I would have explained that the dogs had to be leashed and that the community water spigot was not for doing dishes. The wife thinks that I'm crazy when i do this type of thing but as long as i can get to my camper for my equalizer I don't give a ****. Old age is wonderful.

Yep. In the areas I camp (out west) I would frankly be surprised to see a camping group with more than 2 adults, and off leash pit bulls, without guns. They all kinda go together.
