All it takes for any campground/rv park is one load of rude folks like the OP topic. They can make it miserable for the whole campground.
Were also old time campers...and we also don't camp on Memorial day/4th of July and Labor Day weekends. We simply stay home.
Aggressive dogs ?? I keep a can of wasp and hornet spray. Works great on dogs on 25' long yo-yo's or dogs running loose and even drunks.
As a 75 year old life long hunter and own several guns only a idiot would fire off a gun in a crowded campground at a dog.
But just like suburbia we get all types at campgrounds on any given day.
