If I was looking for a fun holiday weekend of camping, I would go to a cheap camping area with nobody there to enforce the rules. That is, if I was a twenty two year old fun loving guy with a bunch of buddies. The OP forgot to mention the overflowing black water tank. Otherwise it is a pretty complete lists of things that irritate old guys.
I've mentioned this before, but a couple years ago, I had a group of twenty-something guys camp next to me. They were having a bachelor camping party. They were some of the nicest and most polite campers I've had the pleasure of camping next to. They told me in advance to tell them if they're too loud at any time or bothering me. They kept their music at a normal level. They cleaned up the campsite completely before they left. Their dog was controlled the entire time. Yes, they were drinking the entire time and did get drunk.
The ranger had come when they arrived and it was obvious he thought they were going to be a problem. He never had to stop at their site the entire weekend (Friday thru Sunday).
In comparison, a family group arrived a couple hours after the guys left. They drove the wrong way on the road with their car at least 4 times, blocking folks with trailers, etc. coming the right way. They left trash all over. Their music was blaring. Their dog was running into my site repeatedly. They had their kid crapping in the campsite because they were too lazy to walk the 3 campsites down to the restroom. They screamed and yelled constantly. They parked in my site for 20 minutes (without even acknowledging I was there). The ranger had to come and have a talk to them twice. They were there for 4 hours.
There just isn't any rhyme or reason to who the problem people are going to be sometimes.
