What the OP wants for a grill/BBQ depends on what he wants to use it for. It looks like the STOK Gridiron won't fit in a pass-through comp.
We used to have a Roadtrip and it had some silly design flaws but I did like the large full grill surface that you could do several pancakes on. The only thing I miss about it is the interchangeable cook surfaces (full flat, 1/2 flat or ring).
We sold the Roadtrip and bought a Weber Q. While it is well built, easier to clean, and good for grilling, you can only use a 1/2 size flat grill due to air flow and it is too small. Doesn't get hot enough to boil a pot of water. It's also too tall and I have to take the top off to fit it into our pass-through compartment. I don't miss the Roadtrip. I'd rather have something better than the Weber.
We cook 100 percent of the time outside. We like using a wok for stir fry and hash browns and recently bought a single burner cooktop for that and it will also work with a frying pan. I converted it to work on low pressure propane via a quick connect and can run the Weber at the same time. Also have an electric induction cooktop which works great but pots & pans can't be aluminum.
There is one alternative brand to Weber and Coleman that has often been recommended but can't remember the name. It's square-ish and has stainless steel exterior.
