Well it sure isn't just 1800 BTU so it would therefore have to be 18,000 BTU ... but that's not necessarily a good thing as a higher BTU rating means higher gas consumption. One beauty of the Weber Q100 / Q120 - now the Q1000 & Q1200 - is that it has an 8500 BTU burner that uses far less gas than say a 20,000 BTU burner.
