Camping light.

I got one of those 3 C Cell adjustable spot babies from costco last year. I really like the wide beam feature for just walking around like with the dogs for the last call at night.

I will be trolling the costco in Myrtle Beach in a week or so. I got a feeling that I will not be able to help myself. DW thinks I am kinda weird when it comes to flash lights.

And in the small flashlight department - - -

Costco is also selling a 3-pak of small Duracell LED flashlights for $15 (with the instant $5 off coupon). They each take 3 AAA batteries (included), have a high/low setting and put out 250 lumens on the high setting.

I liked the bigger flashlight so well that I bought a pack of these. One of these will fit in a pocket very nicely.

Head lamps! They are great for doing work when both hands are needed. They are a serious pain when someone wearing one decides to stand there and talk to you. Seems they dont realize that while that light makes it nice for them to see your face it is also blinding you and everyone elst they look at! As for the really bright handheld light, as long as they are in the hands of an adult with some common sense, great. But please give the 8 year old a cheap light with a poor reflector. They just don't realize they are blinding people. Or if they do they think it is funny.

Not to highjack...but I have given up most handheld flashlights, in favor of the head mounted strap on, hands free style. Great invention. A 'MUST' when setting up at night. Or something like this.

LOL reminds me of years ago wife and I were tent camping in the badlands of central CA in Oct so still quite warm during the day and dang cold at night with those clear skies.

So we go to bed and I wake up at like 2 or 3 in the morning and the tent was lit up like noon! My first thought is what idiot is driving around by our site at this hour of the night? We are in the middle of no where with 4 other "campsites" in this campground, FS campground with nothing but fire rings and each spot about 75-100 yards apart. Finally get up and open the flap on the tent and the light source was a fgull moon that just rose over the hills facing the tent! It was huge and looked like it was sitting right on top of the hill. :B

I'd love to fight that one in court.

I got myself a Toshiba C55D laptop.. Nice 15.6 display, 1.4 Gig AMD E-class processor 4 Gig Ram and 500 of HD,, A 500 Gig HD is 350 just now. I paid 250 for the computer at Staples last week, Deal of the week, Very happy with it. now taking 1/2 as long to do my internet run as it used to.
