Camping World problems?
Certainly not for us!!! Had our 5th wheel furnace-A/C thermostat short out likely from damage caused by a tire blowout at Kokomo, IN. Police setup a barricade and a large truck came from the truck & tire repair place and changed out the tire so being late at night, we stopped overnight at the Flying J at Whiteland, IN about 12 miles south of Indy. No heat and the outside temp was low 30's and a big arctic blast coming. Yup, froze our behinds!
Had the blown tire replaced the next morning a little north of the I-465 bypass on the south side and called Camping World of Indianapolis to see if they could replace the thermostat. They said they were swamped but to bring it in and they would try to. Got there at about 11 am and at 1:35 pm they sent a person out to the 5th wheel to see if they even had the right thermostat to replace ours. Yup, but needed to do a little re-wiring to make it function correctly. 1 and 1/2 hours later, all fixed and the total cost was fair.
After all, they were swamped and had 2 of their repair people call in sick and it was Friday (not working Saturday) but still managed to fit us in and were so incredibly polite and caring. A very special "thank you" to Rick Helvey (Service Advisor who'd gone out of his way and sacrificed part of his lunch hour) and Paul, and to their repair person, and the other people at the Camping World location for making room for us and our dog inside and for fixing our problem in such a timely manor! Turned a bad previous day into a bright time going forward! SO appreciated and thankful! The store employee's and customers sure had a lot of fun playing with our wonderful Siberian Husky too the 3+ hours we were inside.
We sure do know why we buy so much from Camping Worlds as they were there when we really needed them! It's truly a 2 way street as they need customers and we needed them! That spells real success for both!
