Marriott International puts a ton of work into auditing each hotel and tracking guest satisfaction in order to make sure the customer experience meets Marriott's criteria. People stay at Marriott hotels because the experience is predictable.
Many businesses are poor at this. The successful ones are good at it.

Add Burger King, Wendy's, KFC. Don't know about today, but Holiday Inns were good years ago.
Lowe's, Home Depot.
Even though independently owned: Harley Davidson dealers.
