The keyword here is "nearly". One or two decibels is a difference. I tried real hard to buy a Champion a few years ago, and luckily my wife talked me out of it. Nothing but Hondas for us.
Dennis... This is an enclosed inverter... It is about the same loudness as the Honda 3000i... They Yamaha is quieter than the Honda by about 2bs according to my meter. AT 699. compared to 2200, at 84 lbs compared to 150 lbs.. I thought, Hey try it.... Can bring it back if loud or I don't like it... I LIKE IT!!!I have run the 15k AC on eco mode...
