What is with the part about "No Alcohol allowed" etc, etc...
Is it a dry county/province or some such? Not that I drag a keg along with me on my camping excursions, but an ice cold one at night with my pipe is a very nice ending to a good day camping...or a bad day camping even.
Most places with the "no alcohol" rule is to keep the keg parties away. Unless you've done something to piss off the ranger, they usually won't bother you if you are sitting quietly in your campsite with a cold one. Making noise after hours, being rude/abrasive with other campers, ignoring other rules, causing a scene, etc., and that cold one becomes an easy way to remove you from the campground.
This exactly, I've had a beer in my hand while taking to a ranger on numerous occasions, if you're being polite and respectful and not a drunken idiot it's not generally an issue. You could run into the Dudley Doright type but even then the most likely response if you're not out of control is going to be to tell you to dump it out.
