I use a polymer synthetic wax from Meguires. Just did mine last weekend. My camper is 3 weeks old. From here on out I will probably spray wax it with a synthetic polymer 3x per year on the sides and rear but hand wax the front cap 3x per year. Much quicker and easier to spray wax on, wipe it off then to rub wax on and off. Do the hand wax first then you can just build off this with the spray wax.
