coach battery

Does the rv deep cycle batter charges up when the rv is plugged in to a electric source. It's a 99 fourwinds.:?
  • If it doesn't the likely cause is problem with converter, blown fuse between battery and converter, or bad battery. Lots of threads on how to test converter and auto reset fuses.
  • It should, generally speaking. I was told to expect 24-48hr charge time. I would imagine this assumes a good battery. BTW, if you remove the caps and can see the top of the plates it will never hold a charge. If you find this to be the case water it up and look for corroded ground to the trailer frame. A poor ground set up can cause your battery to boil out by overcharging as the excess voltage if force fed.

The other possibility is that you have a bad battery.
