Coach Net Keeping Secrets??

I take it that this (Coach-Net Motorized Plans) and and this (Frequently Asked Questions) are not good enough? If you notice the highlighting as you scroll over the areas with your mouse, click on them and they open up for further explanation. It is as good as any explanation as I seen any ERS offer on line.

I agree with JJBIRISH that CN should do the right thing and publish the terms of their contracts.

It would be one thing if can had to mail out a printed brochure to everyone who asked. But in today's online world, it costs NOTHING to publish it online for review.

There really is no excuse for concealing this info.

Not sure if they have platinum anymore. Was just on their site and only the platinum + and regular is listed. Platinum + is excellent.

Thanks JJBIRISH. That's what I wanted a side by side comparison. It's time for me to renew and just wanted some answers. Clear as mud. This is something I buy and hope to not use, so far so good. I'm a lifetime GS member and guess I'll renew GS ERS Platinum since I can't get any info from CN.

I do have Platinum plus I did't know there was a difference.

the op said CN refuses to supply all of the information for a new contract, and he is correct…
I did supply a link to a way to read it… I also commented on at least 3 difference and I don’t know how many more there might be in the contracts… inquires should know that some information is unavailable from Coach Nets web sites and from what I read here they even refuse to supply it on request…

I find that a little disingenuous, no much disingenuous from someone wanting your money before allowing you to see what you get first, and I imagine a lot of others would to…

No one especially me gives a rats behind which someone prefers or why… but someone that hasn’t made that decision yet should know the facts and that their website is misleading…
the members here shouldn’t be hiding the facts if known (and they should be known by someone that bought it, no???) nor defending such a policy, no matter how wonderful they think the company is…

It’s not he said verses he said at all, it read both and know for sure what’s said and what’s important to you… BEFORE YOU BUY…

Come on CN make it a nonissue, just do the right thing...

You are very correct, I don’t know a lot about AAA, but I believe they have about 70 regions and from what I understand not all are setup to haul large or heavy vehicles or to even do tire service…

I posted this earlier it is straight from a AAA document… apparent they are not equipped to ensure tire service or towing for many vehicles…

The club shall provide service to the following:

• Four-wheeled motor-driven vehicles of the passenger, pleasure or recreational type (vans, campers and motor homes), regardless of license plate designation, if those services can be safely delivered.

• Dual-wheel campers/motor homes will be provided all services but may exclude towing, extrication/recovery and tire service due to size. Dual-wheel unloaded pickup trucks are provided all services except tire service when special equipment is needed.

what the heck does that mean??? And they make no mention to towables here…

I have read many times if you are in another region for some services you might have to pay for them and then seek reimbursement from you home region... but I don't know if that is true or not...

Sounds like a pretty stupid policy for an RV service contract

Same breakdown? Hard to compare he two on two different occasions. There are multiple reasons why the outcomes might end up differently. Date, time, location, other calls going on, etc.

I am glad you are happy… as happy as I was disappointed in them… now we are both happy and satisfied… that’s why they make both chocolate and vanilla…

But I won’t sit here a lie for them and I won’t sit here and lie about them, but I will give my honest opinion about them based on my own experience, and in my experience their service couldn’t hold a candle to that I received from GS…

Like I said they left me stranded where GS would not have, and like I said they did nothing wrong in doing so, I failed to realize the differences between them… I took it for granted they were at least the same and by the glowing reviews better than GS… my bad… and a mistake I won’t make again… I won’t rely on promotions but will rely on what the contract says…

I only recommend others do the same but apparently CN don’t want or permit that…


I am not going to argue who is better, you are convinced and I am convinced… we won’t agree or settle anything...
it’s just that it’s important to know what you are buying and that’s hard to do when all the info is not available…
