The buyer of used isn’t causing the problem, if you use them you can save money… and if you use the home park a lot and the C2C when away from home you can save a lot of money…
The problem is in the greed of the parks driving the used market, and driving some of the better parks out of the system…
I have used (3)membership parks exclusively and C2C in between them for several years of full time camping and making camping fees a minor expense for me… less than a morning stop at Starbucks for many…
This began before the economy woes long before that isn’t behind any of it…
There have been blackout dates in the past like a holiday weekends, because the home park was filled with its own members… but never 5 or 6 months straight to sell space to only outsiders…
