- armadillo_17ExplorerColaw has worked for me, in buying tow bars, new refer, spare rim, etc.
Across the interstate from Colaw is Consignment RV, operated by Seth Colaw...not only sells consigned RV's, but provdes service on RV appliances, awnings, installation of baseplates for the dingy. They have been great for me. - aruba5erExplorerGreat place to graze. never know what you can find that you can't live without. bought extra switches, outlets various stuff and 4 pillows for the vents. Cheaper than anywhere else. I stop by every time i'm in the neighborhood. And don"t forget to go the the Precious Moments museum nearby where they USED to my that stuff.NEAT
- John_JoeyExplorerI know this thread is being hi-jacked now, but it does seem like the OP got his answer.
Yep, that is a beautiful place I held off going there because I figured it wouldn't be. They also have an RV park there which was completely empty when I was in the area.
The other thing in that area is the very last remaining Route 66 Drive In. I had the pleasure of visiting with the owner, and talking about his passion for racing slant 6 225 Mopar engines.
He's putting the drive in back into pristine condition and we really had a wonderful Norman Rockwell night when we saw a movie there. I forgot all about parking on the shoulder of the road waiting to be let in :). For us it was one of the high lights of the trip back north that we would never had had if we didn't get stuck in Carthage due to snow. - Turtle_n_PeepsExplorer

John&Joey, thanks, may be worth looking into.
If you do make the trip with the rig check out Lucky J's for food and Downstream Casino RV park for an overnighter. Make it on a Wednesday and join their club and you'll get an all you can eat crab leg buffet. Best I ever had. :)
ON EDIT:
My mistake, it's Tuesday night for AUCE Crab legs.
Thanks for the link John&Joey. I hope I can make it back there one of these years again. I love that area and love the people of Joplin.
Another site to see when in Carthage. Beautiful place. - John_JoeyExplorer

Interesting. Always wondered about them. I would like to find a piece of inside wall panel to match what I've got. Worth taking a day off and driving up, do you think?
Call first and tell them the make/model/year of your rig. All of their rigs are on a computer and they can tell you if they have a match and the location. Most of the rigs have fire damage CLICKY and all are open to the elements. - Tin_PusherExplorer IIInteresting. Always wondered about them. - John_JoeyExplorerDue to bad weather (snow) north of there, I spent two weeks in Carthage waiting it out. Which meant I spent a lot of time strolling the RV grave yard in back at Colaw's and their new/used part area.
Very nice people, and their prices seem to be appropriate on most things. What has made me a customer for life is when I asked the guy if he had some out of production plastic e-clips for my magic chef stove.
I spent hours searching the internet and calling the stove makers looking for them that winter only to find out they were all out of stock. The guy went back into their appliance bone pile and dug around for half an hour and came up with them. DW is now thrilled she has all her burners back :) - GreentowExplorerGreat place. Was there a couple years ago. As stated above, some used, some new, some "what is that?". And their helpful if your a bit confused on what you need.
