They look handy but are they safe for potable water and will they hold city water pressure without bursting? Thanks, Radar.

My observations:
Are they safe for potable water as used in an RV. Some are, Some are not
Are they safe for potable water as used on a farm YES, but that's a different use
Can they stand up to city water.. YES, when new.. However they tend to age quickly.
Can they be easily fixed when leaks happen: NO.. Where as standard hoses often can be fixed.
