Dallas, here we come!

We are now booked and counting down til we fly into Dallas to start our 6 month RVing mega trip on 31st March :B Until we purchase our FW & tow vehicle we will need about 4 to 5 nights stay in Dallas & was wondering if anyone knew of someone that needs there home looked after or any holiday homes around the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Maybe a really good camp ground with cabins, Or any other suggestions? We are 4 adults & 4 kids from Australia.
Regards Mik
  • Yes, two separate rigs for 2 separate families & I have 3 out of the 4 kids & the two wives. :) Well maybe by the end of it, thats what it will feel like I'm sure.
Thanks for the camp ground links, I will go & have a look now.

The Vinyards RV Park in Grapevine (very close to DFW airport) has cabins available. Nice park, nice people.
  • OK you are flying into Dallas and then going to purchase a FW & truck for a 6 month journey.....

What are your plans for the FW & Truck at end of trip??

Have you looked into 'rental' of a Class A?
6 month rental would be roughly $50,000 but your done....just turn it back in and fly home.

Several businesses in Dallas that do rentals......all types of Class A MHs
  • Hope you are mentally thinking about which side of the road to drive on!

Guy sent his wife a text saying to be careful on her trip down to Seattle, as he just receive a traffic alert about a wrong way driver North of Seattle. She text'd back, NOT ONE, BUT A WHOLE BUNCH OF THEM!

So you are purchasing two separate rigs for two families?
