I would probably walk unless the damage wasn’t bad and the price was really good. Remember that you will be looking to sell it one day which won’t be easy.
This is why we pony up and pay for indoor winter storage along with inspecting the entire unit and reseal as necessary about twice per year.
Yes the storage costs money but I sleep very well on stormy nights knowing the camper is nice and dry! :B
