This is all silly. If you go to a campground or out in the boonies and stay a few days , a week, etc. in your camper, tent or whatever, you are camping. I never go camping.
We RV. That is we use our motorhome for our home while traveling to see the beautiful USA. We may stay in a campground but aren't there except to sleep. So if we stay in Fishing Bridge and the neighbors are 2 ft away I don't care.
To camp, the campground is your destination. People use that for their getaway if they live in close quarters at home. I'm out away from people, very peaceful at home. Hope this clears it up for you.
