disability hearing???

I have a neighbor who is in the process of filing for disability. He says he got a letter from the social security office telling him he would have a hearing. He has a lawyer who explained everything to him but he has no idea what they do or ask at this hearing. I told him there are lots of people in here that are more savvy when it comes to this stuff and I would ask. Sooo does anyone have a clue? lol! :h

    My late husband went to court for disability. They basically asked him for information on his disability......to explain it, when it started/occurred. Tell him to relax, don't make himself sound BETTER than he his......be very truthful. :) and wish him luck for me. We tried 2 times, on the third appeal, we got an attorney. Best thing we could've done. The attorney found out they didn't have ANY records from our doctors the first two times!!!!!!!
