Does a resource exist that allows for easier RV shopping?

We recently bought a new Ram 2500 with about 13k towing and 3300 payload. We haven't pulled our 6k TT with it yet but it's going be be a vast improvement over our previous TV: Ram 1500 with small v8 and 6400 towing.

We knew when we bought the TT that we would upgrade once we had enough experience to know what we wanted. Well, we're a bit better armed now, and have all of the Tow vehicle we want. Now we have to find a 5er or bumper pull that will deliver our wish list. No problem, except I can't find a simple way to research.

Is there a "clearing house" with floor plans and spec sheets for various manufacturers so that we can more easily compare layout, weights, tank capacities, etc.?

Have you ever considered going to a RV dealer?

Pictures and websites really do not reveal the true look and feel of anything.

Barring that perhaps check around for a RV show, most of those will have multiple dealers with most of the major brands and models of RVs.

On edit.. adding in a link to a website that will locate RV shows and expos..
