Does a resource exist that allows for easier RV shopping?

When we were first looking we stumbled upon RVwholesale.com.

Ok website as they sell a lot of different trailers and combinations.

But once we found a style we liked we started a local search for it and found others that were similar to what we wanted then started searching.

Also wsnt to all the manufactures websites of the ones we liked and googled a lot for reviews and such.

I feel your pain, there really doesn't seem to be a way to search. For our next trailer we'd like aluminum frame, fiberglas sides, max height 10'3" to fit under the carport, walk around queen, no slide out, range with oven. No simple way to narrow down, as far as manufacturer's websites, they give you ten different product lines to go through.

Your making it harder than it really is.

The manufacturers make something called a "brochure", in a nutshell it can be a single piece of paper or small booklet with all the stats of a range of models..

Dealers SHOULD have them in their "show room" and if not, ASK for one.

Otherwise write down the brand/model number of the trailers that interest you at the dealer.. Then go home and CHECK THE MANUFACTURERS website.. There you WILL find brochures typically in PDF form you can download and print out to your hearts content.

You would be even more overwhelmed if you had a one stop shop website which listed every single manufacturer brand and model.

Too many people way overthink this.

Make a list of what you NEED (IE length, beds, ect).

Then make a list of nice to have (IE dinette or dinning table/chairs, ect)

Then list front/mid, rear dining, bunks, no bunks..

Take that list to your dealers and look at the trailers which check the most boxes on your list.

Get make and model numbers and a brochure..

Go to another dealer and do the same..

You will eventually find a pattern of models/layouts you like.

Then using the brochures check the capacities.

Most of all there is no such thing as a 100% "perfect" trailer.. You MAY have give up a few items on your list in order to get as much of what you want.

You can drive yourself silly overthinking this.

You can see a listing of all the different brands of RV and their manufacturers, but you still have to drill down into each web site for the details. But, once there, you can always book-mark the floor plans or brands that interest you, then compare them after searching (a few hundred or so :? ... well ... a few anyway).

Next, check your local area for the available dealerships, then take your list and actually go and compare apples to apples.

There is no single consolidated site anywhere that I know of. But the list on the web page I referenced above, is about one of the best for consolidating all the brands and manufacturers.
