First off we sleep in..
So you won't hear me at early hours
I'm no diesel expert, but after 4.5 years of full timing with one
I know this much, 5 to 10 minutes, in comfortable weather, maybe less in hot weather..ready to move
My temp gauge doesn't even move in that time period
It won't move up until I'm actually moving down the street for a few minutes
I can idle for 30 minutes in cool weather and that gauge isn't gonna move , unless it's triple digit temps outside
