Durable tire recommendation

We just bought a used 17ft 3200lb(dry) hybrid trailer. It is single axle and the tires are six years old.

Because of the age and single axle I am looking for recommendations for durable tire options. I know good tires cost money and I believe it is money well spent, I just don't know much about trailer tires.

Any recommendations?
  • Single axles seem to be easier on tires, imo, so there's that.

I personally don't buy into paying a bunch of extra money for "premium" tires. Been running Kenda Karriers on 2 different tandem trailers for several years now with no issue.
  • They're all terrible... The GY Marathon got good reviews, then terrible reviews. The GY Endurance same, good reviews, then terrible reviews. Buy three tires from a shop you trust, and just plan to replace them regularly.
