I would spring the extra money for the 4 way hitch. It has much more sway control than the E2. Just make sure you get the proper weight WD bars as they are not interchangeable if you get the wrong size.
The E2 hitch gets its' sway control from the WD bar/L bracket interface.
The 4 way hitch gets its' sway main sway control from the WD bar socket/hitch head interface and its' secondary sway control from the WD bar/L bracket interface just as the E2 does. There is not nearly as much friction generated at the L brackets as there is at the hitch head.
