E350 with Dual Cam
Hi all, was setting up my new 2011 E350 with my dual cam setup from my suburban. 26' keystone loaded 6500lbs This is what I have
Unloaded front height D 35 7/8 P 35 7/16
Loaded front height D 36 1/8 P 35 13/16
Loaded w wdh D 35 15/16 P 35 11/16
Loaded Difference D 1/4 P 3/8
After wdh return to front D 1/16 P 1/4
I measured the frame rail in the front (21") back (21 3/4"). Driving it seemed a little squirly. when cars passed me I got a push pull and even running around corners there was a push pull. The most noticeable was when I let off the gas there was a noticeable push pull of the camper.
I am wondering do I need to tilt the head down just the next notch? I am wondering if there is not enough pressure on the load bars. Do you think that I am a little light on the tounge weight? I checked the cam on the bar and they seemed to line up. Honestly, solid wise it doesn't feel too much different than the suburban. All tires are aired up. Tounge weight with suburban was 690-780 but if I remember correctly it was also 2" front to back pitch nose down.
Any Ideas?
