- Cocky_CamperExplorer IILess RV's in the park equal's less utilities for them to pay. Sounds like they are trying to run everyone off.
- Two_JayhawksExplorerWe were at a RV park last spring that dinged us $5 because we have a washer/dryer.

Holy rat turds Batman, do they have a few rules in RI lol. The encyclopedia of campground rules. Prices are cheap though, here in PA that full hookup site will be more than double, in the order of $46 on a weekend.
Super 8 is about the same plus you get clean sheets and a Continental Breakfast. I digress.
Been many times I've parked the camper in a motel parking lot and stayed in a room. No hookups, hot shower and room service. - jfkmkExplorer

I don't know about the bicycle part, but most state parks and campgrounds that I've seen prohibit the use of alcohol. - MitchF150Explorer IIIWow.. No alcohol either... Even restrict the riding of bicycles... No thanks..
- Johno02ExplorerWhen you are at your own home, you always pay extra when you use power for your Air Conditioning. If you expect to use more power at a campground, expect to pay for it. The option, which is most usual, is that everyone pays more, whether they use more power or not. The maximum power use charge is built into the camping fees. However, many feel that why pay for it if you are not going to use it. In these modern times, people do not realize that things they have always had, like power and wireless, are NOT free. Many of us actually remember, not too long ago, that you actually had to pay for long-distance telephone calls!! Someone always has to pay!
- gboppExplorerWe stayed at a CG in New York, they told me to let them know if I used the A/C. I could pay when we left.
- K_CharlesExplorerArea 1 is nicer but it's usually full. You can run your generator if it's too hot and we have run our AC in area 4 in the past. It is only restricted when it's extremely hot.
