- bobjogoneExplorerWe volunteered at Hidden Lake Environmental Camp in Everglades in winter 2012-2013. Are you looking at Shark Valley - check on where the RV pads are? Comments on escapees forum mention those.
The volunteer village near Royal Pine/ Coe Visitor Center was great with about 12 sites and housing around. Friday night TGIF get together in the Chickee (screened recreation building with picnic tables).
If you need more info, let us know. - botts12ExplorerIt is a beautiful area but very remote. We like to work camp closer to a grocery store and some restaurants.
- Dog_FolksExplorer IIIf you have never seen the Everglades, it is a do not miss. It is a wondrous and unique area of not only this country, but in the world.
Do not expect amusement rides, it is not Disney. It is real life.
