- toedtoesExplorer IIIThat's almost as expensive as stopping at a home depot/camping world/cabellos/harbor freight/etc., so the DH could get that part/tool/thingy he really needs. :)
- gboppExplorerWait until she 'just wants to look' at the outlets....:E
- RoyBExplorer III used to go way off road getting around "SOUTH OF THE BORDER" on the I95 NC/SC border. After trucking awhile momabear would say "I though there was shopping mall near here" haha... She finally figured out what I was doing... I did get away it for several trips however...
I thought I was doing something since there is a EAT AT PEDRO's advertisement sign about every three miles 60 miles away in both directions on I95 hehe...
Roy Ken - buckyExplorer IIIn the 60's they had more signs than Burma Shave and stretched from forever to forever. My kids are mid 30s and still like to stop, but it has really gone down hill. Do they still sneak bumper stickers on customers cars, that used to really upset my dad.
- 1ofmanyExplorerAll part of the trip....
- NYCgrrlExplorerNo rookie here just a weary and bemused trooper.
His issue is electronics. If it duplicates something he already has OR is technology discounted because it's become obsolete that makes it better.

- fla-gypsyExplorerI loathe shopping, my idea of shopping is sitting at the keyboard and looking for a free shipping deal after I identify what I want.

That is me :) My online shopping carts are full of camping stuff. At my stage of life, I know what clothes/shoes/jackets etc. fit me and would rather buy them online.
But, I do admit to thrift store addiction. We always stop at a Goodwill or a Salvation Army when we are on the road. I just don't consider that "shopping" like going to an outlet store or a box store.
