  • sounds like a road trip time and do a little butt kicking just for the exercise.
  • This is a PERFECT example of how important due diligence is in the selection of an EW contract and provider. Such a policy is an expensive decision that should not be made only on price or advice of an RV dealer. It is critical to read and understand the fine print and research reviews of the provider carefully. $5k out the window is nothing to sneeze at.
  • Check your terms and conditions. If (deleted by Admin) sold you a legitimate service contract, there should be the name of the insurer and a way to contact the insurer or the Administrator directly for a refund. (deleted by Admin) is not an administrator or insurer, only the sales channel. Hopefully, they used a legitimate insurer and hopefully they paid the premium on your plan. If so, you should be able to go directly to the administrator or insurer for a refund. If you would like to fax or scan me a copy of your contract, I would be happy to help. Unfortunately these on-line scammers give the service contract industry a bad name when there are legitimate services out there. It pays to do your homework up front- verify that you are dealing with an insurance backed product, and know who is standing behind your warranty.

I just thought I would share my story with the fine people of this forum.

Very interesting post. Is it written "for a friend" or is it your story?
