Eye Test
What does it indicate when you can't see the numbers on the chart but you can when you look through the disk with pinholes in it just fine?

cataract surgery makes retinal detachment more likely. I had cat surgery on both eyes and no longer needed glasses. A year and a half later my left eye got blurry. I delayed going to doc. It was a retinal detachment, had that surgery and because of delay I have some permanent vision loss. 6 months later the other retina went. Because of quickly addressing it that eye is now back to 20/30 with glasses.
The pinhole occluder eliminates spurious light and forces you to focus with one part of the eye. It is a basic screening tool. To get a better idea of how it's used simply Google "pinhole glasses" or "pinhole occluder" you'll find plenty of information, but the big thing is to address it quickly.
Good luck, Russ
