F-150 best add on mirrors for this shape of mirror

Getting back into RV'ing after a 3 year hiatus and have a different TV than before. Has anyone found a good strap on mirror for the F-150 (2017 Lariat) that seems to work better than the others.

I know it's subjective, but since you can't really go any place and "try them on like a pair of shoes..." I wanted to see what some of you have used and liked.

Muchos thanks!
  • I had CIPAs on my F150. The new F250 has power folding and extending mirrors.
  • CIPA here. Bought mine when I bought my truck (2005) and they still work fine today.
  • I am happy with the Grand Aero 3 mirrors. They extend farther than the CIPA custom fit and K-Source custom fit I used before.
  • i had CIPAs on my Avalanche and i now have them on my F150. love them and they are way cheaper.
  • I was happy with the CIPA 'clamp' on mirrors I used on my 97 F150. They slid over the oem mirror and had a screw on the back that held it to the truck mirror pretty tight and worked very well.

I do have the big tow mirrors on my 13 MaxTow optioned F150 and they are great too..

    Good luck! Mitch

Unfortunately if you want Ford tow mirrors, you have to order them as a separate option on a half ton truck. My towing package didn’t have them, Max Tow for my2019 didn’t have them. My aftermarket Tow Mirror factory copies gained me heat and turn signal for only $230. When ordering you need to confirm whether yours are 22 or 8 pin models.

  • I used the Chevrolet version of these on my now sold 2015 Tahoe. Worked well
