Fabric softner in Black water tanks
I was told by another RV'er that she use fabric softener in her black water tank. Does this work and how much softener would you put in a 45 gallon tank?

Have you ever had a build-up of fabric softener on your clothes from washing? especially towels? Think of what kind of goo would form with constant use in your tank! That stuff needs lots of agitation to get rid of it and it's not going to get it sitting in a tank. We use water. That's it....and no problems in 17 years of full-timing.
