Fabric softner in Black water tanks
I was told by another RV'er that she use fabric softener in her black water tank. Does this work and how much softener would you put in a 45 gallon tank?

I've heard baby oil in the holding tanks keeps the sides clean (so the gauges work) and keeps the seals soft. Sounds reasonable but I haven't tried it.
