We've used the geo method since buying our TC (new) and we've not had any odors, even in hot weather. Our sensors are working perfectly as well. Quite different from using the chemicals in our previous 5er.
But, there is another difference that helps. We do add more water than we used to. After washing dishes, I dump the water in the black tank. Works like a charm and reuses the water to help fill the black tank, which is a component of the geo method.
I got that trick from the Tips, tricks and gizmos thread.
Look for powdered Calgon at your local farm and fleet store. That's where we get ours.
