Fabric softner in Black water tanks
I was told by another RV'er that she use fabric softener in her black water tank. Does this work and how much softener would you put in a 45 gallon tank?

What it does is create a slick surface on tank bottom & sides.
Stuff doesn't stick so it slides out easier, doesn't pile up and dry out so the smell factor is minimized.
That's why it is a combination of products.....water softener (slick factor), dishsoap (scrub factor) & bleach (sanitize factor)
It does work.....
I just choose to use water and good dump methods.
Storage space is a premium when you FT so I only carry the basic essentials......extra chemicals for waste tank is NOT on that list.
