Fabric softner in Black water tanks
I was told by another RV'er that she use fabric softener in her black water tank. Does this work and how much softener would you put in a 45 gallon tank?

It's a tank, not a system. fabric softer keeps the water soft. Perform a once a month flushing - at least 10 to 30 minutes. Put a wand / hose down the toilet. Do this and your system will remain trouble-free.
