Fiberglass front window cover

Go to a marine supply house and pick up either fiberglas resin or gelcpoat and recoat your existing glass panel. You can then paint,get it wrapped, order online graphics,etc to make it unique.

Yup, it will get some comments I bet. It will definitely outlive fiberglass. When I removed my front fiberglass cover the panels broke in my hands.

Just get some two part resin and redo the coating. You can get enough to recoat the cover for under $50.

I made a new cover with white, vinyl coated aluminum sheet goods. Mine was divided into three pieces so I put some bends into the outer pieces for strength and left the center piece flat. I need an artist to get some graphics on the center piece, my own efforts would be less than good.

Although I think the coroplast would hold up just fine (you could even double layer it), I like the idea of diamond plate aluminum.

I'll guess that it's translucent, so you get light even when it's closed. If you want to keep that, then plywood, laminate, or aluminum won't work.

If it looks OK except for the fuzzies, I'd try spraying a coat of matte clear spray paint on it, let it dry, then light sand to get the fiberglass whiskers off (use gloves, wear a mask). Then a few more coats of clear.

You can purchase a 4'x8' sheet of 1/8" thick aluminum diamond plate for around $200. That material would be easy to cut to the right shape and it's very light weight. It would also be much cheaper than any other direct replacement option from the dealer. However, you would probably want to paint it because the glare back into the TV could be unbearable at times.

Or you could make your rig stand out. How about a thin piece of birch playwood with teak oil for a finish?

I don't think coroplast would hold up very well on the front of the trailer, where it's exposed to flying debris and such. I may also be wrong there.

I'm guessing the fiberglass maybe just be a thin sheet of Filon or something similar on a piece of plywood. You could put lots of thin sheet goods over that plywood, if that's indeed the construction. Sheet metal, such as diamondplate aluminum, would last a long time. Countertop laminate (the thin sheets for gluing onto surfaces, not the preassembled countertops with particle board substrates) might also work well.
