Having a dog wasn't a plan for us, neither was having a tt. Our dog coming into our life was a really good thing. Before, we didn't take vacations. The dog loves to travel, in the car and camp in the trailer. So, we bought the trailer to travel with the dog and now have taken 4 weeks off in the last year. Best thing for my husband. Yeah, we have to worry about her, walking her, places to go, etc. But, so what. She brings a lot of joy to our life.
We were camping last week Sunday-Friday. LOTS of dogs during the week, at least 15 different dogs during the week. The campground was quiet all week until Thursday night when the family with children showed up. Their little girls felt the only way to ride their scooter was by screaming at the same time. Two little girls made more noise than all the dogs, and the 25 person father/son church group.
Having a dog is not for everyone, but that's ok.
