We have always had dogs, usally two at a time. Never took them camping, thought too much work, not fair to the dog. We just started taking our husky, can't take sheppard too old. He absolutley loves it and we have a great time with him. Now we try to take him on every trip even if we leave him alone for a few hours. Should have done this with our other dogs we had in the past.
When we get back home the Husky won't come out of the RV, we have to bribe him to come out. Just as a test we left him in the RV for hours and went to retrieve him, opened the door and still did not want to leave. Now as soon as he hears the RV start up he jumps up and down until we put him in.
