lol.. well, obviously it's up to the author to correct any blatant errors, then next time it just might suggest Afrin. Many folks are too lazy to do that, and expect the reader to figure it out.

And, of course other short-cuts ... like a photo of a plate instead of actually speaking to a friend/relative "Here's my dinner, steak, potatoes, carrots." if anyone even cares.

Nope, for real communication, we will always need a full size keyboard, or we can evolve tiny hands, or grow a sharp pointer off one finger. Oh wait, one long pointy fingernail should do it - of course, why did it take me so long to think of that ??

The Iwatch is an interesting piece of tech. Keep in mind that Iphones took a few years to be the dominant smartphone. The watches don't really have a target audience right now. The second gen coming out sometime probably Q3 or Q4 next year. At that point i might buy one but i never buy when a piece of tech first comes out. Hell, I don't even update Windows right when patches are available. I want to know the patches and updates won't break anything.

Don't kid yourself. Desktops are not dying in anyway. There are things that can not be done on a tablet or smartphone or are more difficult to do so. I am currently on a desktop even though i have both an Iphone and Ipad. For some set of the population all they might need is a smartphone but it is far from dying.

Oh, and I'm going to be that guy and say it's "dying" not dieing.

You can actually find some good monitors on occasion at thrift stores. I use two I found at Goodwill as my primary monitors. Donated my former HD monitors originally purchased new, as they were not nearly as good.

Both HPs are 28" HD+ res, and almost 3x the brightness of most new HD monitors, aimed at digital design and photography. Best comparison would be to iMACs. They did have about 5,000 hrs on the bulb, but that is still 1/4 the rated manufacturers life.

Though they are higher end monitors, wouldn't have bought these new, was able to get them for about 10-12% of street price.

I love my 2011 macbook pro too!

Long live windows, as long as its running better and faster, on my mac :B

That computer is probably just as fast as it was when brand new and you thought it was blazingly fast. It's just that newer computers are faster so it "seems" slow.
