We don't have a dog. Never had them, never will. We're just not dog people. To each his own. Although we do have a rescue cat that stays home and chases imaginary stuff around the house.
We are seasonal campers. My BIL is parked next door. We have new identical campers. The differences in wear and tear are becoming apparent.
They have two dogs which are pretty user friendly but still do plenty of damage to their camper. Their screens are damaged, so are the cushions, even though throw rugs and blankets cover just about everything that the hair doesn't. The windows have slobber on them. There's always water on the floor from the dish. And it smells like dogs. Their grass has dead spots. Also, we always have to drive seperately because of the dogs.
Now one dog is dying, and my SIL is suffering.
I'm actually not complaining and do like other people's dogs. I just want to give plenty of credit to you folks who don't mind the inconveniences of owning and camping with a pet. We just couldn't do it.
