I love dogs. Any kind, any size. But there are two reasons that I don't own one. I'm a single Rver and it isn't fair or safe to leave the dog in a hot MH while I'm visiting something. Second, I couldn't stand living longer than the dog. They define pure love. Even a best friend or marriage partner will do things that annoy you from time to time. But if you yell at a dog, he wags his tail and licks your hand.
I have friends that have a dog, and they're often away on a job for a few days so I stop by to feed him, let him out, and play with him. I think he loves me too, but it might be the pocket full of Milk Bones. :)
