- ModeratorModeratorHMMMM.... dislike 'MADE-UP' words? 'swaller' isn't in Webster's dictionary.... but 'glamping' is. Hmmmm.... :)
- Cloud_DancerExplorer IIIf I had some more (lots more) money I too would throw some away,...but not where it's cold.

If "swaller" is made up, it was done a long time ago in Kentucky!
I too dislike "modern" made up words ... there's plenty of words to use that have already been made up a long time ago. Let's not complicate life anymore than it already is. :B
By the way, many backpackers and tenters would consider all RV camping to be Glamorous Camping. - bukhrnExplorer III

I'd be up for this!
Too bad it's so expensive, but looks like fun anyways.

It doesn't move, but as for the cold, yes it's cold outside, but the inside is toasty warm!- Deb_and_Ed_MExplorer III would LOVE that! I don't care what name they call it - just being in a beautiful place like the mountains, is nice :-) Of course, with our luck, the whole place would be socked in by fog or a blizzard....LOL!

Hmmm ... occasionally we camp using our RV in (U.S.) places like that ... and some folks in these forums camp almost exclusively in (U.S.) places like that.
However, occasionally spending glamping $$$ to be in places like that probably over one's lifetime - is WAY LESS than buying and maintaining one RV or several RVs over one's lifetime!
P.S. Haven't folks been renting or owning mountain cabins for decades all over the world? Glamping smells like a fad to me. - lfcjaspExplorerWow, here I thought I was glamping in pretty grand style in our 25' motorhome!
