Personally..I would be re-evaluating the need for the dang golf cart :B
Glad you weren't hurt....either time!
Had similar problem loading motorcycles in truck.
Ramps not were very stable on the end of tail gate...removed the cables on each side of tailgate, dropped it down and then set ramps on bed/edge of tail gate.
