IF your truck is capable of carrying the weight of the trailer and the hitch, there are a couple of ways you can go;
you can get an extended pinbox on the trailer
You can get a slider hitch for the truck
or
you can do both.
If your truck is a Ram 1500 with P tires, I would say you need a bigger truck and better tires. If you have LT tires in load range D, you might be barely adequate from a weight carrying/towing standpoint.
Personally, I would want a 3/4 ton truck (Ram 2500) with LT load range E tires for that trailer, and my personal choice would be one with the Cummins diesel engine. A gas engine, whether hemi or 5.9 Magnum, would do the job, but the diesel would do it better.
I would also want an 8 foot bed for towing a fifth wheel. But, that is mostly because of the amount of tools and "stuff" I could put in the bed. I could never get all I want in a 5 foot 7 inch box!
