how do I repair a stripped out screw hole in the wall

Its a piece of probably 1/8" paneling. The toothpick idea is excellent when filling a hole in a piece of wood a 1/2" or more thick but for this repair its going to be nearly useless. Nearly meaning only a very temporary fix.
Just bite the bullet and get the molly.
