I do feel sorry for the people in the south. But watching the news today everything shut down where it looks like a ghost town. No cars on the roads etc. with just a couple of inches of snow and ice going on makes me just laugh.
I'll sound like my parents here, but they never closed the schools in Wisconsin or Illinois where I lived. Blizzards nor sleet or ice storm kept the kids out of school. AND as you got older, you still had to go to work in them also, nobody ever closed their business. 2 feet of snow and blizzard conditions you got up early and still shoveled out the car from under a snowdrift and headed on in to work.
Guess it's all relevant but I still can't keep my self from laughing at the weather reporters standing in a whole 1 inch of snow screaming how bad it is. :B
